On 4 March 2026, Mr. Sami Nagga, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Romania, held a meeting with Mr. Iuliu Stocklosa, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest, with the participation of Mr. Marouane Ben Nasr, Economic and Trade Responsible at the Tunisian Embassy. The meeting was dedicated to exploring ways to boost trade exchanges and enhance investment between Tunisia and Romania, as well as emphasizing the importance of following up on the outcomes of the Tunisian economic mission held in the cities of Bucharest and Constanța on 22–23 September 2025.

  The meeting also included discussions and coordination regarding the organizational arrangements for the Romanian economic mission that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest intends to hold in Tunisia from 25 to 29 April 2026. The mission aims to monitor the implementation of agreements concluded between the Romanian Chamber and its Tunisian counterparts and to explore opportunities for establishing partnerships between economic actors in both countries, particularly in the fields of agriculture, advanced technologies, energy and renewable energies, as well as other promising sectors.
