🔴 As part of efforts to advance economic diplomacy and strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Tunisia and Romania, Mr. Sami Nagga, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Romania, held a meeting on March 17, 2026, with Mr. Ionel Gagu, CEO of the Romanian International Exhibition Center ROMEXPO in Bucharest.

✅ On this occasion, discussions focused on ways to further develop cooperation with this venue, considered one of the largest and most prominent exhibition centers in Eastern Europe, particularly by supporting and enhancing Tunisia’s participation in the various events it hosts, especially those aimed at promoting tourism, the agri-food sector, and other priority industries. The meeting also highlighted the importance of establishing a structured partnership between ROMEXPO and the relevant Tunisian institutions.
