Mr. Sami Nagga, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Romania, met on 4 February 2026 with Mr. Tiberiu Gim GIUREA, General Inspector for Immigration of Romania.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to highlight and further strengthen the existing cooperation between Tunisia and Romania in areas of mutual interest.
  Discussions also addressed several issues related to the Tunisian community residing in Romania, particularly the situation of residence status and the facilitation of the community’s integration into Romanian society.
