Mr. Sami Nagga, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Romania , took part on 15 January 2026 in the annual meeting hosted by Mr. Nicușor Dan, President of Romania, with Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to Romania.
  The meeting was dedicated to the exchange of New Year greetings on the occasion of the 2026 new year, as well as to the presentation of the priorities of Romanian foreign policy, including the strengthening of cooperation and partnership relations between Romania and the countries of North Africa.
On this occasion, Mr Ambassador held discussions with Mr Nicușor Dan, President of Romania and Ms. Oana Toiu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, on ways to support and further enhance Tunisian–Romanian relations across all areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
